<올빼미와 야간 조명 등>

an owl loved the quiet night.

올빼미는 조용한 밤을 아주 좋아했어요.

one evening, a new streetlight was installed near his tree.

어느 날, 그의 나무 근처에 새 가로등이 설치됐어요.

“it’s too bright!” he complained.

“how can i think clearly now?”

“너무 밝잖아!” 그는 불평했죠.

“이제 어떻게 생각을 정리하지?”

a passing cat said,

“you can’t control the light,

but you can close your eyes.”

지나가던 고양이가 말했어요.

“불빛은 못 꺼도,

눈은 감을 수 있잖아.”

the owl closed its eyes,

and realized that sometimes resting is wise.
올빼미는 눈을 감았고, 때로는 쉬는 것도 지혜라는 걸 깨달았어요.
